Premier Rental Residential Community Opens at Harbor Point in the New Stamford

101 Park Place Offers Great Views, High Style and Full Service

Stamford, CT - (October 27, 2010) - At a grand opening last evening, Building and Land Technology, the developer of Harbor Point, hosted a gathering of local officials and community supporters to formally unveil Stamford's premier rental residential community, 101 Park Place. This new, 15-story structure houses 336 luxurious rental residences and offers a level of design, finish and services unprecedented in lower Fairfield County. 101 Park Place is conveniently located off of Washington Boulevard between Connecticut's busiest train station and Stamford's renewed waterfront.

According to Carl R. Kuehner III, President and CEO of Building and Land Technology, 101 Park Place is what sophisticated residents expect in today's New Stamford. "There's a concierge to receive packages and facilitate travel and entertainment plans, a sixth floor pool deck with a walking trail and sweeping views of Long Island Sound, a state of the art fitness center and Wi-Fi clubrooms."

Though not officially open until last evening, more than 60 apartments have already been rented. The apartments' premium finishes include granite countertops and islands, stainless steel appliances, cherry cabinets, wood laminate flooring, ceramic tile bathrooms and in select homes, private terraces overlook Long Island Sound or the adjacent 4-acre park.

Stamford Mayor, Michael Pavia commented, "The opening of 101 Park Place marks another milestone in the development of the South End. The addition of 336 rental apartments adds to the growing commercial, residential, and retail diversity of this vital growth area for the City of Stamford."

Just a short walk from the Stamford Train Station, 101 Park Place is 47 minutes from Midtown Manhattan. The community is close to city restaurants, clubs, convenience retail and Fairway Market, the famed NYC green grocer that is opening its doors on November 3rd. A complimentary shuttle service for residents offers easy access to the train and all of the neighborhoods within Harbor Point.
